For every wall graphics order we receive in January 2012, WALLS 360 will donate a set of our new Interactive Wall Tangrams to a primary school classroom in the Clark County, Nevada public school system.

“WALLS 360 has donated hundreds of sets of re-positionable wall tangrams to teachers and classrooms around the world over the past months, and the response has been amazing and inspiring,” according to Tavia Campbell, Co-Founder and COO of WALLS 360.  “WALLS 360 just opened our new on-demand wall graphics production facility in Las Vegas, and we created TANGRAMS FOR TEACHERS to support the schools in our new community directly.   We hope to expand the program globally over the coming months.”

“I have long been fascinated by the infinite possibilities of figures and designs that can be formed from the seven simple geometric pieces that together make up a TANGRAM,” according to Yiying Lu, Co-Founder and Creative Director of WALLS 360.   “WALLS 360 can now bring this ancient puzzle game to classroom walls around the world!  Kids really enjoy creating their own geometric designs and layouts right on the wall, and teachers love the fact that our new wall tangrams literally ‘Peel & Stick’ onto classroom walls, and can be removed and re-hung hundreds of times without losing adhesion, leaving a mark, or damaging surfaces.”

Yiying Lu first exhibited her ‘Interactive Wall Tangrams’ at the 2010 Creative Sydney opening at the Sydney Museum of Contemporary Art.

We are very excited to partner with WALLS 360 and applaud their efforts to support our school district.  These interactive wall tangrams will help our students with visual and spatial skills they need in a mathematics and fine arts classroom. With 309,000 students, CCSD is looking for new and innovative ways to use technology to help our students achieve, and provide our teachers with the tools they need to teach effectively in the classroom.
